Bridge
In a team of five, our challenge was to select an existing company and create a promotional strategy based on their current statistics and budget. Our team was lucky enough to connect with a local Stratford startup company, NFC Authority. They create smart labels that can be used on any product, allowing people to tap with their phones, taking them to a digital experience. We met with their team and discussed what their goals were and what market they were interested in reaching. Our challenge was to create a promotional strategy targeted towards millennials.

My Role
After a few weeks of ideating, discussion and planning with my group and our client, we split up to work on the separate promotional strategies. Along with Katrina Schouten, my task was to create the Bridge website and user experience packets.
Katrina and I also worked closely with Celine on the branding of Bridge as this would directly relate to the website. The branding was a blend of Celine's concepts and my colour palettes.
Our Promotional Strategy
After doing research and discussing with NFC Authority, we decided to separate our deliverables into three major sections. First, we chose to create a sub-brand of NFC Authority called Bridge. This would be an online platform allowing anyone to purchase NFC tags and create their own experiences with them. Second, we wanted to pair a social media strategy with Bridge to ensure we were reaching the right target markets and trends. And third, we came up with a sticker promotion that would compliment our overall concept and add a bit of fun.
The Web Design Process
Using Figma, Katrina and I collaborated in real time to come up with iterations for our website. We started by creating a user journey (shown above in the green boxes) to figure out where people needed to go and how users could create their experiences. After establishing colours and general design preferences, we split up and made multiple designs for the home page of the website.
The Final Design
After collaborating on a finalized homepage, Katrina and I took on different sections to finish the website. We always ensured constant communication so that the designs were unified and that the user flow was seamless.
With our website people would be able to purchase NFC tags, create virtual experiences linked to those tags and use them for casual and business settings.

Personas and User Experience Examples
We also created hypothetical examples showing potential uses for our website. If they wanted to buy NFC tags and use them, Taplist was a great way to explain to our clients what people would be making from Bridge.
At the end of our presentation they were very impressed with our user experiences as it gave them a better understanding for the potential of our product.
